pretty much every time I’ve gotten big news, college, awards, jobs, etc., I take a few minutes to listen to the Stones and psych myself up … just in case I don’t get what I want and end up having to trust that I’ll get what I need. well, I’ll be honest, it’s usually in vain … I work hard and get what I want. but, as of late, there have been a couple instances of me not getting what I want and not only does it blow, I’m having trouble waiting for what the universe thinks I need. well, I’d better “need” a kickass job, a beach house and a bod less 50 lbs pretty fucking quick
